The Color of Baseball in Boston

Baseball stories brought to life. The exhibit at the Museum of African American Museum was created to tell the history of largely forgotten black baseball players and teams in the Boston Area. It included original uniforms, bats, gloves, photos and articles that told the tale of sporting heroes before the big leagues.

Our goal for this exciting project was to create the materials that helped enhance the experience by visual branding the exhibit. Narrative boards were designed to tell the stories while descriptive panels were created to dive deeper into the details of the artifacts. Maps, lists and banners helped to round out and polish the exhibit. It was an honor to be part of this peek into sporting history.
